What We Did
For this bathroom renovation project, we delivered a full transformation with a focus on modern functionality and sleek design. The works began with the removal of the existing flooring, followed by the installation of a new plywood subfloor to provide a solid foundation. Electric underfloor heating was laid throughout, offering warmth and comfort underfoot, and comprehensive waterproofing was applied to ensure long-term durability. We installed modern downlights and a new ventilation system to enhance lighting and airflow. A concealed shower mixer was fitted for a streamlined appearance, and we built a custom recessed niche in the shower area for convenient storage of toiletries. The walls and floor were professionally tiled to a high standard, and a wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern was installed to maintain a clean, minimalist look. A mirrored cabinet with integrated lighting was mounted above the basin, complemented by the installation of a curved bath and a tall storage cabinet to maximise space. The result is a stylish, functional, and well-finished bathroom space tailored to the client’s needs.
Final Outcome
The finished bathroom is a sleek and sophisticated space that blends modern aesthetics with practical functionality. The soft neutral tones of the large-format tiles create a calming backdrop, while black fixtures and accents—including the mixer taps, towel rail, and shower screen hardware—add a bold, contemporary contrast.
A curved bath with a minimalist glass screen provides both style and comfort, complemented by a custom-built recessed niche for convenient shower storage. The concealed shower mixer and wall-hung toilet with a hidden cistern contribute to the clean, uncluttered look of the space. Warm underfloor heating lies beneath the large tiled floor, providing year-round comfort, while a discreet ventilation unit and recessed downlights enhance the room’s practicality.
The illuminated round mirror and floating vanity unit, finished in matte navy, introduce a subtle pop of colour and modern flair. A tall matching storage cabinet completes the design, offering ample space without compromising on floor area.
