Work began with site setup and groundworks, excavating selected areas to form a concrete base ahead of the paving. Once the concrete had been poured and levelled, paving slabs were installed across three designated areas, each laid on a sharp sand and cement bed and finished with pointed and grouted joints for a clean, durable result. Additional paving tiles were laid along the grass area, linking the steps through to the main paved space.

Next came the flower beds. A concrete foundation was laid first, followed by construction of one bed along the long white wall up to the paved area, and a second along the neighbour’s boundary, with a small access pathway left in place. Both beds were lined with membrane and filled with soil, with final dimensions agreed with the customer on site.

The grass area was then cleared of large stones and debris, levelled, and lightly compacted before new turf rolls were laid and thoroughly watered in to help the lawn establish.

Behind the scenes, the plumbing and electrical work brought the garden up to modern standards: a new cold water supply and external garden tap were fitted along with a watering sensor controller for automated irrigation, while the electrical works added three external wall lights, an external light switch, and a double external socket.

To finish, the site was fully cleared of surplus materials, aggregates, and debris, with all waste disposed of responsibly and the garden left clean and ready to enjoy.

The garden at  Prima Road has been fully transformed into a functional and attractive outdoor space, combining new paving, well-defined flower beds, and fresh turf with modern lighting, irrigation, and power provisions. The result is a low-maintenance, well-finished garden ready to enjoy throughout the year.
